If there is one thing Will could make for the rest of his life, he may tell you it is feather patterned damascus. He studied with Bill Burke in Idaho to learn the most beautiful approach to this steel. It is painstaking. Forged from an exhausting number of layers of contrasting 15n20 & 1084 high carbon steel - this feather paring knife exemplifies Will’s latest abilities in steel manipulation. The hidden tang handle is stabilized birds eye maple from our friend Tim at Cedar Mountain Banjos in Brevard, NC w/ a black G10 bolster and brass fittings.
