Charlton Paring III
Charlton Paring III
Named for one of my earliest blacksmithing mentors, Charlton “Skeeter” Prather. This guy changed my life when he hired me as a blacksmith and proceeded to encouraged professional development. He encouraged me to ask questions and knock on doors “the worst they can say is no” he would assure me. He was a true role model in every sense of the word. Our time together is cherished and remembered fondly. Small in stature and with a humble presence, he always left a lasting positive impression. The fully tapered tang is dressed in a stunning piece of ash burl and a hefty copper bolster that will develop patina over time. Put this to use immediately or fawn over it until you’re ready.
