Heritage Granny Paring
$350.00
Originally a paring knife I made for Chef Sean Brock, he coined it “the Granny Paring knife” because of the style of cutting he used it for. After the response to these in the Autumn 2024 sale, I introduced the design to my Heritage Collection, where storied materials and elegant finishes come together. This blade is shaped from a reclaimed high carbon lumber mill steel and polished to an easy to maintain satin finish. Full tang, petite, razor sharp and dressed to impress.
size: 2 7/8” blade / 7” overall
weight: 40 grams
blade: reclaimed lumber mill band saw carbon steel, Wrens, GA
handle: stabilized Oak Burl (gift from N. Elizer) storm felled in Atlanta, GA - Hurricane Irma 2017 & African Blackwood (Paris, clarinet factory)
