This large Performance Series chefs knife is forged from a favorite kitchen knife steel that we’ve tested and loved in our own kitchen for many years. The high performance steel blade features a hammer-textured spine with a HWF signature handle construction: full tang bolster imparts a stout feel while the majority hidden tang adds to the comfort and ease of maintenance while shedding weight. Bevels are polished to an easy-to-maintain satin, rounded choil and spine for comfort. The handle is dark maple burl with bronze and an oversized blackwood spacer and a matching, continuous grain, maple burl bolster.
