Rooted in the uplands and along cold-water streams, this bird and trout knife is built for long days afield and careful work at the end of the hunt. It disappears into the hand and carries easily on a belt, in a vest, or in a pack. Just as comfortable dressing birds or cleaning fish as it is resting by the fire. The laminated blade is forged from my own san mai—stainless cladding over an 80CrV2 carbon steel core—offering toughness, edge stability, and easy maintenance in the field. A tapered full tang keeps the knife balanced, light, and responsive in hand.
